I agree with everything you said...
quote:

Only thing is he doesn't have to draw his bow when the deer come in.

also can shoot left handed to extreme right side of vision, without standing up, just switching hands, if nescessary...

Yeah but they're not as big an advantage as the crossbow manufacturers would lead you to believe. I'll stick to my bow. I choose a quiet shot over all else.

i do too, without a doubt, and i am a matthews guy, through and through.... but, one year my shoulder was really messed up and i bought a crossbow and killed deer with it that year... I am much more accurate with my bow,,, but, there are advantages with a cross bow.... I could sit on my arse and shoot em lefthanded to the right side, and vice versa, without standing up, drawing, holding, etc... those are huge, huge, advantages, to "just the killing" of deer.

We shot in Ruston this past weekend, didn't score very well but at least I can say I hit some areas of the targets that no one else had.

Hoping to go shoot again this weekend. Does anyone know where Aimwell Range is near Jonesville. Anyone know of any other shoots this weekend. I'm still looking for more schedules also.
