The algorithm completely flipped my suggested videos for guntube. It used to be demo, honest outlaw, piew view, and some others. Now its a bunch of small channels popping up.

Yeah, just watch 1 music video, then get out of YT, and then go back in later. Your feed will be covered up with music videos then.

Demo had too many crazy arse people showing up, posting pictures of Mere on Reddit etc etc.

Having a YouTube channel that’s popular takes a lot of work and time away from their family.

Started watching this guy years ago. Watching his meteoric growth with my boys has been something else. He's been a positive influence on alot of young and old people alike. Of course being one of the goats he'd go out like one.

I only recently found him in the last year, luckily there's tons of content he's put out there which will take me a few years to get through.

The grind of YouTube has to be exhausting. Can't say that I blame some of these people who've gone from single and young to trying to start a family. They've made their bag and hopefully can now go live a happy, quiet life.

It’s a job. I don’t blame them for wanting to ditch the spotlight after awhile, but getting the spotlight was their goal when they started.

Glad they knew when to walk away, Matt knew his kids were growing fast and wanted to focus on them. He's stated his YT career was vastly more successful than he'd ever dreamed and it has allowed him and his family to have financial security to do whatever they want. Think these types can always go back to making content later too, but the pressure is off.
