I’m not about to get rid of my 2012 Yukon. All the horror stories I read on here about late model GM products is scary.

Yep, my 2010 f150 went 265,000 with an alternator and one water pump.
Never touched the trans or transfer case but it did get two a/c builds.

I have a 2008 Silverado with 430k. I had a stuck lifter at 410k and my son and I rebuilt the heads (I can’t take it anywhere for repairs because they all come back with “you need a new engine” as soon as I tell them the mileage. However, the rear end “bump” when coming to a stop has been happening in this truck since the day I got it. It had 36 miles on it when I bought it new in November2007. Took it in to the dealer for warranty repairs and nothing was found. Has done it for 19 years with no problems. I’ve heard it is caused by the driveshaft yoke pulling out slightly and getting in a bind when you brake hard. When you let off the brake a little, it slips back in causing the bump.

That’s not just a water pump Holmes.
