My sons partner is fishing in the High School Classic on Friday at Watt's Bar, they weight in on the big stage. Only 2-4 high school teams were invited.

The BMC will always be the pinnacle of our sport.
BASS just got a little too greedy with the entries and getting big pay days from the hosts of the event, and huge entry fees.
MLF is taking the PGA approach and applying the host bid to the participants

Another vote here for BASS getting away from moving fish all over the lake in live wells all day and the stress it puts on them during the spawn. Heard today Toledo Bend and Rayburn expect a combined total of more than 1100 tournament boats. That’s a ton of fish stressed during the spawn, then released to try and lay in an unknown spot. Tournaments need to completely scratch that method and rethink it. Also BASS should be a little more liberal if your at a 10 bass limit lake. Best 10 wins. 8 fish lake 12 fish lake and so on. Prove your the best at the regulations for that body of water. If it’s a dual bass lake large mouth and smallies then that more fish to a max bag limit not just 5.

I agree with poster that said Marshall’s weigh and release fish and Angler’s take one back to weigh in. I’d also think it was cool if they didn’t weigh the one going back to add suspense for the final weigh in

Listened to Ott on BassU this morning. I can't tell if he sounds confident or not. Said the conditions won't make it easy.

Looks like a cold slow start this morning. Should be picking up through the day.
