2 stroke fricking yamaha issues

Dropped the boat in the water about a month ago. Wouldn't get on step, idled fine. Turns up RPMs on the driveway. Sent it in to clean the carbs. Let her sit since then
Fast forward to yesterday, primer ball wouldn't get hard but cranked easy in the driveway and would idle up to around 5,000 RPMs.
Drop in the water and bogged down before getting on step.
The frick.
Changed the fuel line and primer ball
Still wouldn't get hard
Cranked and would run 10 seconds then die
Drink another beer
frick it let's bypass the fuel filter and go to the tank
Another beer time
Bam. Ball got hard and cranked up.
Great
Idled up the RPMs and now she's making a sucking/blowing (partially drunk so idk) noise around either the fitting that ties into the cowling or somewhere else that I can't see because too many white cans and it's pitch black outside
But, it cranks and idles fine, just makes that noise every 30 seconds or so between 3,000 and 5,000 RPMs then runs fine then makes that bloeing/sucking noise again
Any ideas here? Fwiw it's on my 2 stroke 50 yammy

Fuel pump baw
I dont see how the fuel pump would be making thaw blowing/sucking noise at only high RPMs intermittent. I would think it would be constant

Could have a tank full of garbage fuel, could have a VST full of crap or a pump going bad, problem is a lot of guys diagnose the problem as being fuel, clean the carbs that probably needed it but fail to find all the other problems garbage fuel has caused.

Fuel could have fricked something up. I drained the tank and replaced it twice so far in thr past few months.
What's the vst?
What's the vst?

How old is the motor? Oil injected? Any alarms?

Check your Reed valve assembly.

2009. Oil injected. No alarms

I think it would be easier to clean out the VST filter instead of the Reed valves

Try mixing a gallon of gas/oil with a bottle of seafoam. Put fuel hose directly in your mixture. You may have to change your plugs afterwards. It has fixed many of my carb issues on my older motors. It's a cheap and easy try without having to tear into your carbs.

Check to see if you have oil getting into your gasoline.

I thought vst filters were only fuel injected models?? I don't know much, I just know from years of owning boats that my 4 stroke fuel injected motors have vst filters, but I never knew of a vst on any of my two strokes. If they had them, then mine never got cleaned or clogged

I'm pretty sure the older OX66 have them, I'm not sure why all 2 strokes wouldn't. But I'm only a mechanic when I'm drinking

If I can't figure it out on YouTube or HullTruth then I'm fkt to be honest with you

Does fuel tank need to be vented?

But is it clogged? Just loosen cap till almost off, and run it to see if it runs better
