Yeah.....I'm going to go ahead and disagree with you on that one.

It's just incorrect

Never understood the practical use of the trigger "safety"
It would be like car manufacturers deciding to integrate the brake pedal into the gas pedal

In the case of someone who follows common sense safety protocol, every trigger pull is intentional. In the hands of someone who is careless in their operation of a handgun, a Glock is no more or less dangerous than any other product
Exactly. One of the reasons many LEAs choose Glocks is b/c they're really easy to train people on. If you don't pull the trigger and the trigger bar, the gun will not discharge.

I was simply refuting your false claim.

Was it confirmed that he was carrying a Glock? And has it EVER come out why he was touching it to begin with? Was he about to pull his gun? Did something happen?
And if he was carrying a Glock....??? CHEAPASS!!!
Makes millions and carries a $500 gun?
BUMP my own post in hopes you guys will stop pissing and moaning about Glocks and trigger safeties vs. manual/thumb safeties and answer my questions.
BTW.... Whatever you shot first will be what you feel is best and safest with. If a beretta was the first pistol you owned and shot then you will always be looking for that safety. If a Glock was your first then you may NEVER look for a "safety" first as instinct.

Just because you say it over and over doesn't make it true. You have yet to respond to the quotes I provided defining the safeties on Glocks. One of which is an external safety (trigger bar).

I see. Which part? The part about how anyone who knows how to correctly operate a handgun does not "accidentally" pull the trigger? Or the part about how there aren't any guns that are safe in the hands of an idiot?

Not always true. I grew up on Glocks but I still really like the triggers on most 1911s

Both really. Idiot? Really?

It was a Glock. He had it tucked in his sweatpants and it slipped down so he grabbed it and like a dumbass put his finger on the trigger and pulled it.
He was arrested because he didn't have a CCW.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree then. And yes, there are a lot of stupid people who own handguns. They dick around with them and eventually have accidents. It doesn't matter what kind of gun it is, if you don't know how to operate it, chances are bad things will happen. I don't even know how you can dispute that.

So now it is a "mechanism that prevents the gun from firing no matter what?"
Here I thought it was : In firearms, a safety or safety catch is a mechanism used to help prevent the accidental discharge of a firearm, helping to ensure safer handling.
There is no safety that can be completely relied upon. Having a safety (which Glocks have) is no excuse for poor firearms handling

Then the only thing you consider a safety is to carry an unloaded gun.
