Tired of being on the sidelines......going to rip some lips off some redfish.
Lafitte/Myrtle Grove Duck Ponds
Falling Tide around a foot range in tide.
Various rods n reels but my fav is a Cabela's Inshore 7' MH action with a Shimano Stradic.
Live finger mullets will be used.
Big boy redfish will be had.
Go Tigahs and Happy Birthday to my baby boy....24 years old today and playing in a softball tourney in Tennessee.

Supervising a 300 CY concrete pour since 3 am. Another hour and I'm headed home for a quick nap and preparing for the arse whipping the Gators are getting at 2:30.

Update: haven't relieved my bowels since the #17 from the messican restaurant yet. What's the ob's stance on shitting in the woods during a hunt?

Shitting in the woods is a must.
Once upon a time, my bowels struck a chord and immediate shitting occurred while I was bowhunting. I didn't get 40 yards from my stand and shucked my trousers, grabbed a sapling and commenced to shitting. The sapling wouldn't support my live load and I fell over directly on top of my own pile of shite. It was the damnest mess I'd been in, ever. I had to walk back to the camp with shite literally all over me, caked in mud and mosquitoes. My 2 shirts were used for a futile attempt of cleaning myself in the woods and my hunting trousers were buried under a log not too far from the uprooted sapling. I looked like I'd been through hell when I returned to the camp carrying a bow, wearing hunting boots and boxers.
