You won’t be too far through the woods. If you stay north on 567 I’m just east of the old county line store.

I hunted yesterday and didn’t see anything until 5:15. 1.5 yr old 8 pt. Should be pretty deer in 2 years.

I’m back in a different ladder this afternoon. Creek to the front with young pine between. Mature pine to the back. Might have to get off TD to see them here!

Wind blowing like crazy here in Pearl River County. Hoping something slips up at dusk.

Pulled the ole .270 off the rack for this one.

My wife and I went to Vines for lunch after a memorial service. It wasn’t as busy as I expected.

Where is Vines? I always stop and eat at La Mariposa on the way back to my camp.

The wind is kicking big! I should be back at the camp watching football and drinking. Gonna be nice in the am!

It’s in Centreville on Hwy 24 @ Lower Centreville Rd. It’s a meat market, smokehouse, and a restaurant. They make a great deer smoked sausage. I’ve been going since the portion that is the restaurant was a Sears store. I can remember my dad bringing my first deer there in the early 90’s.

Back again. Wind finally settling down. Seems like everything worth shooting starts showing up at 6pm. Need a buck to slip up or a hog.
