wow, what a shock, money grubbing lawyers being money grubbing lawyers. Another way to express it is sharks in the water. Not all of coastal fishing has been shut down, and if you can afford the rig to go fishing then you afford the gas money to go to Vermillion Bay or some other location.

And if you went and bought a camp on grand isle, rent a dry dock at grand isle, now you want me to fish in vermillion bay ?

At this pace, might be only a matter of time for Vermillion bay.

Wait I know a few Lawyers with camps at Cypremort Point, then the shite will hit the fan

If this is the case, you would have a cause of action here...because you would have property damage.

But, if you are just random rec. fisherman from kennah, you have no property damage.

Seriously though, frick BP!! Whats wrong with the lawyers going at them. They deserve everything they get.

Now I don't believe in frivilous stuff, but what if YOU had paid hundereds of thousands for large boats, a camp, docking, etc and now they won't even let you leave in your boat. You think you should just eat your losses instead of BP paying them? No way, BP needs to be held responsible for every single cent that someone loses because of their neglegent operating. And if it's part Transocean or Haliburton, well they should pay too.

frick them, we have the oil, they want it and will always do business here. It's not like they will get pissed at us and stop drilling in the Gulf.

If you have mental distress about not being able to recreationally fish a certain (like what was described above)area you have some serious problems.

Commercial fisherman (as well as property owners) are a whole different story though since their livelihood depends on it.

There is no other place like Venice La. To simply say "Find another spot" indicates the ops naivety to what this country is losing in our wetlands.
