They all know that the gulf beaches are going to be hit, so they are targeting the vacationers who are all in a state of depression......
Makes great sense, but turns my stomach.

SC beaches are awesome, though Myrtle is the most recognized we have better.

Myrtle Beach always does a lot of advertising. You may be just noticing it now.

if we get to our place in Florida and the oil has affected the area, I think our plan is to keep driving east and maybe head up to SC.

what is even more nausiating is the Advocate taking their money knowing what it is and printing it. All for the almighty dollar. very sad.

WTF are you talking about? So the it would be OK for the Advocate to take money for Orange Beach Tourism but not Myrtle Beach?

I don't really understand WTF the problem is here? if the beaches down here are fricked up what are we supposed to do? no vacation?

All this bitching about companies advertising N.C & S.C beaches in Louisiana is fricking beyond ridiculous.. You and everyone else bitching don't have to go...just stay here and go pitch a tent at Yogi-bear park

it is the principle. I have never seen them advertise the BR area. Beaches on the Gulf are in trouble.....now they place ads. it was simply a sad observation.
now, frick off.

It's the nature of the beast. It's an opportunity for a "business" to "capitalize" on a "business opportunity".... Last time I checked..this is a free market capitalistic society that we live in... Of coarse Obama and company is trying to have some say in that..
This is no difference than the money hungry lawyers feeding on this situation up and down the coast... Morris Bart is advertising in the Mobile Market now when you never seen him advertising here before.... It's "bidness"..

Boy.. You told me didn't you...
