It appears like it. Haven't seen the links in some time, thanks for stickying them again. Any idea what they're hooking onto from the skandi neptune cam?

Looks like something changed and it is back to its old familiar leaking...

It depends on the angle of the camera view from the ROV. One side of the view looks like it is leaking less than the other. It has been like that since the cap went back on.

The data that I could dig up from buoys had ~7 ft. swells in the area around the well. That was yesterday, dunno about today.

Still pretty rough today, 6-7. Should be calming tomorrow.

Thanks for the link, STEVED00.

Should be a lot of action today and tomorrow as they try to install the new cap. I see that they have the rotary saw out again.

I'll do my part. Laid up with a bad back right now so I got nothing else to do but watch this.

I notice that they're installing these devices over the flange nuts all the way around. If you go to the Ocean Intervention III ROV 2 feed, you'll see what I'm talking about. I assume they are some sort of thingy to help them remove the nuts when the time comes. Anybody know how that's supposed to work?

Also if you look at the plume (Poseidon ROV 2) it looks much larger and I see no sign of the cap. So Enterprise must have moved off station.

I'm impressed with the sheer number of ROVs crammed into that fairly small volume of water. Those ROVs are not tiny.

Check that...I just saw the plume from a different angle and the cap is still on.

That's gotta be frustrating as hell. He's got a wrench jammed up in there and can't get it out. It would take him 30 seconds to get it free on the surface but he's having a devil of a time.

So I guess the wrench wasn't stuck, it was welded to whatever that was that they just removed from the underside of the flange. Wonder if they'll have to put that back later. He seemed to be taking care not to lose any of the parts as he disassembled it.
