Just returned from Destin yesterday after a week. All is good there too, beaches had a rough surf with strong southern winds blowing steady all week. Also, the sun was only out about half the time. Other than that, it was all good.

Friday before The Black Crows played at the music festival. Beautiful.
Some chick got on stage before the Zac Brown Band played and started trashing the oil drilling industry and got booed off the stage.
ETA : Two weeks is a long time though.

The mid water column currents have it going towards Gulf Shores. The more dispersants used the more likely you'll see the oil eventually washed up on beaches further east.
