If they can ever stop the oil from flowing, they will be able to clean the beaches fairly easily.

i would think, its the inland areas and marshes that will pose the biggest problems

not trying to be a dick, but the water at alabama's beaches has always been brown, so nothing has changed. i never get in water unless i can see my feet. the sand there is very nice however.

Sad...but thats easy to clean.

While that might be true on some days, I can see my feet in the water the majority of the time I'm there. My parents live on the beach near Fort Morgan so I'm there a lot.
