Anybody here familiar with this place? Trying to find out if they have dirt bike trails or is it all about the mud and a sandy beach. It is located NE of Baton Rouge. They do not open again until 2-6-2021 and not responding to emails.

I know they have some sand riding. I pulled in the parking lot once and it was an enormous amount of UTVs. Don't recall seeing a dirt bike.

I haven't been in a couple years but i remember it being mostly gravel/sandy areas with some mud trails thrown in the mix.

Your best bet for dirt bike trails is the Kisatchie National Forest.

Upvote for kitsatchie trails. I used to take my wildcat there when it was only 50" wide and was on my stock tires. Best pure riding trails in the state

They have some dirt bikes that go but they just ride in the sand. No trail or track dedicated for them.

Unfortunately, two hurricanes have shut down every federal and state trail. Anxiously waiting for them to open back up. Sabine ATV and Tower Traxs are good but always looking for other places that are not more focused on mudding.

You'll have to drive a bit further but some of the public land in Mississippi has dirtbike trails. Desoto is one that comes to mind.

Unfortunately, all of the private places around LA are geared towards SxS/ATVs and mudding. I can't blame them though... they are making a fortune.

They have dirt bike trails but it is all sand! We just had a LACC cross country race their and many bikes did not make it because of the thick sand but it was still fun.

LACC(Louisiana Cross Country, they have a dirtbike, ATV, and UTV series) just held a race there this past weekend so I'd assume they have some trails.

Easier to maintain mud boggs than forest trails. If kitsatchie is shut down the riders need organize a weekend where they go help clear the trails. This was the norm in PA. Facebook group would contact the local gov and set it up. 200 baws with chainsaws will make for quick work

If only it was that easy it would have been cleaned up already. The forest rangers are a bunch of red tape slinging clowns. It's a joke...

THIS^
Some of the best trails I've ever ridden. Miss the hell out of those days.

I've never been to ZONA, but just did a satellite view of it. I could be totally wrong, but the first thing that came to mind when I saw the figure-8 and large sand section is "4-wheelers and a spillway crowd".

Honestly, if that is the case, it would be hard to trust that some idiot isn't blasting up the wrong way on any of the wood trails.
