Would be funny if we let them into NATO and then the US pulled out.

FWIW I am not in favor of leaving NATO (but dont want to add any more countries). This is the reason that Russia is doing this crap. NATO promised to not expand into countries that border Russia but we keep doing so.
We just lie all the time, and never do what we promise. Its the way the US government works. Just ask the Indians.
I am 100% in favor of withdrawing from the UN. And kick those bastards out of New York.
(The US also pulling out the money that keeps it running).
