She is actually a "conservative democrat". She replaced a Republican. She didn't make her sexuality or religious beliefs part of her campaign, she campaigned on the issues. She was a state representative and state senator before being elected US senator.
In reality, her sexuality and religious beliefs are irrelevant. To be honest, I like the fact she doesn't hide who she is because if every US senator and US house rep were to represent who they really are, it would be a lot different...
Think about your typical male politician running for a big seat. They all have to appear to be a true family man and have to establish a certain type of imagine. I'd rather know who someone is upfront than to learn that they are someone completely different than they want others to think.

Kyle, I don't give a frick what you are watching. I am glad it makes you feel good about yourself to post about my bet in all my threads. Really, anything I can do to make people feel better about themselves makes me feel even better about myself.
