Great to hear from you Owl. I’d like to volunteer my time as well. Do you need someone to bathe you?

Ok. Need some help

As you would guess, the food at the facility is pretty crappy.

We have gotten him a few meals, but wanting to get him some shelf stable items that the people at the facility can heat up for him. Going to bring him some bowls/plates/cutlery as well.

I'm sure y'all can come up with great ideas.

Thanks.

Any issues with types of food? I’m talking about chewing, swallowing, etc? Foods excluded?

Need to get tiger91 in here. She’s a dietician for a nursing home.

For starters, look for low sodium products. They aren’t all bad, but will help with blood pressure control and fluid balance.

Glad to hear you are making progress, owlie.

If not access to freezer, and shelf stable only, makes it a bit more difficult. But you can Amazon order Hormel Compleats. Lots of different choices. Sound delicious. Can order in 6 packs and have shipped.

You're right I will need to pay attention to my diet but in the testing it show no heart condition my blood pressure was good

as of now they don't know why I had the stroke but they have done an additional covet test since the first one test too broke and the second one the nurse didn't go deep enough...

but regardless I will need to pay attention to diet a little bit luckily for me I wasn't a real salt heavy guy I never really added a salt to anything.

Does this unfortunate incident mean you’re going to post on TD more? God I hope not.

Great news. I imagine it’s difficult, but seems like you’ve always been up to challenge. It’s good to hear your progressing Owl. Real good news.

How is your right leg? Active motion? Can you bear weight, stand, walk — even with assistance?
