As someone who has had neuropathy for years I can tell you neuronton is a worthless drug. The ONLY reason you get it is that its old, generic and cheap. Insurance loves it. it doesnt work.
Lyrica is the ONLY drug specifically developed for neuropathy. Also I strongly recommend (very strongly) that you start taking a Vitamin D supplement. That stuff damn near cured me. Seriously.

his nerve damage comes from trauma, a little different and he is getting relief, just does not like the side effects

This. The Neuronton does help, it's just a pain to have to take so much medicine to be pain free. The weight gain sucks but is something I have learned to manage. The wind being taken out of the sail in the bedroom is the main problem. A 30 year old shouldn't have to be thankful the peptides thread will never die.

I had ISB block on my arm for two surgeries. Couldn't feel anything below my shoulder for 48 hours.

As stated earlier, there is a big difference in nerve blocks and epidural steroid injections. Also depends if it is a peripheral nerve or spinal nerve.
