I don't watch the news in from of my kids. They will know the world is a shite hole soon enough.
What sucked for me today was telling them they may have to wait a couple weeks for Christmas presents so I can help pay for a family members insurance who is in danger of dying without the proper treatment.

Every generation has its share of things to worry about. Statistically I mean whats the chance of being caught up in a terrorist attack, probably as high as a getting hit by lighting.
Sure be aware of your surroundings but I will never let fear of that happening stop me from doing whatever I want. Can't live like that.
Just tell your kids to live their life the way they want, but be aware of your surroundings as well. You are probably at more risk speeding on the interstate.

This may be the dumbest shite I've ever read in my life. American kids mine included are the lucky ones. I'm assuming you've never been out of the country.
