Use workplace lingo on her. Tell her we need to find the Root Cause of what’s making you so angry and then analyze possible ways to mitigate that trigger. She will inevitably yell “DON’T TRY TO FIX ME” or something similar. When she does this say in a mildly sarcastic tone “baby I’m not trying to fix you I’m trying to help you fix yourself.” She will melt so hard she will vapor lock in frustration and just go to the bedroom and sulk.

I know you’re thinking this is oddly specific You would be correct. I’ve done this exact thing and gotten that exact response. It’s fairly amusing. They can’t handle when you go all self help guru on them.
