They had taker lose at 30 bc vince thought he was done and Roman was going to beat Brock at 31. Roman now gets to retire taker and beat brock at 34, arguably a much better situation for him

Yeah 30 was going to be his last which is why they decided to end the streak. Then they decided they couldn't have one without Taker.

But after tonight you can see he is done done. He looked worse than Hogan at the end of his run. But he gets mad props for fighting through the best he could for a 30 minutes match. And he took a spear through a table. Maybe they should have made it a falls count anywhere and had it end like that.

But yeah given where everyone else is and how this finished, I'll be shocked if Reigns/Lesnar doesn't start up at least right before Summerslam and they run it through Mania.

I think Reigns needs a short rivalry with an over face first. Maybe even him vs. Rollins (unless they do a quick Rollins Lesnar).

If Balor comes back soon (which he should) Reigns could get some quick heel heat from that.

And will end up being the next Luger or Diesel. You can't force someone down the "Universe's" throats and not let it happen naturally. You'd think he would have learned his lesson by now.

Except Reigns is the top merch mover now. Just because IWC neckbeard dweebs don't like him doesn't mean he's not over.

I've seen more people wearing Bayley's gear in the crowd shots than Roman's.

So did he really just give out in the ring IRL? Off script?

He had a really hard time wrestling but I don't think much of anything was "off script"

Maybe a couple botched moves

I'm finding a few videos out there, he looked super gassed. Sad.

Reigns didn't help

I'm mostly thinking of the botch on the tombstone piledriver reversal

On that Taker is supposed to help pull himself up but he was so done he just kinda fell like a boulder.

No way you put that on Reigns. Sadly Taker is just done.

We shared the same ideas on who would win (except for the battle royal). I was too lazy to type all of that out

yeah I noticed that Taker couldn't help lift himself

still feel a different opponent could've help put on a better match

Guys Taker was never winning this match. As rt3 pointed out, people who are retiring go out with their back on the mat. Taker is an extremely old school dude and this is the way he wanted to go out.

We can debate who should of pinned him all day (probably now thinking Cena (eww) more than anyone else or hell even Kane).

In fact, in a perfect world Kane drags Undertaker down to hell never to be seen again, but Vince let Taker have his call at the biggest event of the year which speaks volume to what everyone thinks of him.

Only Flair and Taker I believe got their calls at a WM.

I see what you're saying and I know that's how it goes

I think more heat could have been on Roman had he lost and beat the undertaker even more.

I was unaware it was no dq

Match f the Night last night was either the Shane/AJ match, or the RAW Tag match.

Tonight is gonna be bonkers! I hope they trot out Roman first

They clarified this and said it's no where near cena levels and basically the same as AJ and Orton too.

They're clearly in trouble when Cena departs, they've done a shite job building new stars as it seems everything is sacrificed for Roman. He's gotten takers rub and will get brocks as well, they could have built multiple people out of that.
