The thing that annoys me most are that when they get those moments of lightning in the bottle they do everything they can to ruin it. It almost seems intentional.
Bad thing is I like Corbin and I even like Mahal has a worker but they are doing them no favors.

Yep. It's mind-boggling why they do the things they do sometimes. So many great workers have been wasted due to awful writing.

If I were to fantasy book this whole thing I would have had Corbin show up on Payback after Orton wins and pummel him to a pulp. Have the last shot be him standing over Orton with a vicious scowl on his face.
Then, on SmackDown, promote the hell out of Corbin making a statement (Orton not on show to sell) and then have him state that he has been denied opportunities with Ambrose moving to Raw and then the fatal four way last week for US. Sets up title shot for Backlash with real heat.
Sure it is a little repetitive with Styles doing the same thing going into Mania but that should have never been the story from the beginning.
Mahal should have been built slowly. Hard to take him seriously after he just got beat by Mojo Rawley (should be a heel or still in NXT) of all people two weeks ago.

I just miss the wildness of the old WWE and I'm not even talking about the attitude era. Nowadays everything seems so stale. With Punk gone and Bryan Danielson sidelined, there's not really anyone that can shine. Having the Hardy boys back is great but there's only so many more places you can go with them. The way they've pushed all of this young talent with no real plan for a future just seems so thoughtless.
When they brought in Ryback and The Shield it was so obvious the way they were headed. Glad I checked out from that.

Yeah, the writing is grossly predictable. I can probably assume how they are going to write Mahal from until Summer Slam.
