I don't mind guys like this getting a push at these smaller PPV's. He's a space filler. You'll never see this happen leading up to Summerslam, Royal Rumble, or Mania.

I wonder if this was a call up or a one time thing for now.
SD doesn't really need another heel tag team.

Crazy though AJ goes midcard and Mahal goes main event.

he doesn't deserve one

Yes he does. He's been a good worker for a long time but has been saddled with a shite gimmick from the start.

nah I don't have the network so I didn't see talking smack.
I don't mind the push he deserves it, is a good worker and really has put the time and effort in the gym. hes not that bad on the mike.
what I don't like is the fact he jobs and in a very quick fashion twice in one week and then hes a number one contender the next. a gradual win steak would have been nice. at least let him build momentum prior to becoming a contender

Ok so let me get this straight:
AJ Styles is #1 contender for the U.S. title, and Jinder Mahal is #1 contender for the WWE title. Riiiight.

That and I think the thinking is you put Owens in a feud with a great worker and super over guy to help raise Owens status.
His time on Raw was overshadowed by Jericho. Now he has a chance to be him without having a side boo.

Doesn't matter how good of a worker he is, the fans don't care about him. If the network didn't exist, how many people are paying $60 to see him headline a ppv? Who's paying $70 to see him headline a house show?

He jobbed on Raw because everyone (Zayn excluded) who was healthy and traded jobbed on Raw.
The Mojo job was just because they were in Boston and had a chance to get Gronk involved again.

The man just got instant heat and Randy can help elevate him very quickly.
I'm starting to rethink my Lesnar hunch though.
Also Zayn is the new Ziggler. He only wins when it doesn't count. Lost two straight #1 contender's matches.

I like to see them take chances with guys like jinder. Now they have two shows they can try it. Randy can help make him look like a viable threat then boom. You have a decent Midcard heel and now it looks like he has the Bollywood goons with him.
Posted on 4/18/17 at 8:05 pm to Byron Bojangles III
Roman puts butts in seats, Jinder doesn't. Randy's not a good enough worker, and probably doesn't care enough, to put him over.
