Totally agree and been thinking the same. But I wonder if aligning him with Heyman would get the boos they want since obviously he’s a heel now

So how the frick do you have a PPV named Payback at the same time you've been teasing a mysterious group called Retribution and have said group show up exactly zero times. Not that I like the angle, but its nuts they didn't connect the two.

Crowd or no crowd, the stuff they did tonight is a lot of effort to draw some heat......this wasn’t a run of the mill heel turn

I wonder if they said frick it when they realized that Retribution wouldn't mean shite if someone that people know wasn't in it (like the original WCW invasion angle)....and they also realized that putting Miz in it would still suck.
Should have put Braun in it.....could still pull that off.

honestly... I'll let them get through NXT this Tuesday with the Fatal 4-Way Ironman Match for the NXT Championship
after either Balor or Cole wins the title... thus freeing up both Gargano & Ciampa officially... maybe they'll get back to it

Yes that's why I'm not bitching too much on this title change because it seems like they are gonna run with Roman as the main heel for a while which is different.
I'm not convinced that WWE can effectively work the Fiend as a face though ....which is why I said tonight is the beginning of the end for the Fiend.
ETA I'm not sure Vince ever fully committed to the Fiend side of Bray's character in this entire angle though.
