I don’t chime in in these threads much, but I couldn’t disagree with this more. No one left that match looking strong. Punk and Cena wrestled in slow motion because Cena wrestles like he’s 60 these days. Seth’s goons got taken out like chumps. Seth got taken out like a chump. Heyman’s ‘plan’ sucked and didn’t work. Punk did that weird handshake thing for no reason at all just to get punked out. He lost to a geriatric, slow as molasses Cena. And all that after all the groveling and backpedaling to Saudi he’s been doing the past 48 hours.
I think WWE creative has been in a rut since the Roman bloodline stuff got wrapped up. HHH needs a serious refresh.
But then again, they sell out every show at wild price points and the crowds seem like they enjoy it, so what the hell do I know?

Or maybe Seth achieved his real goal of screwing cm punk. That’s really probably all he cared about.

He called Robinson in to do the cash-in to screw over Punk?

quote:It took a decade for them to get to the highs of the Attitude Era after the Hogan/"Golden" Era. The Bloodline was an era like those two. There are parallels between where WWE stood after both Vegas Manias as well. I don't think they'll hit the lows of the mid 90s because they have the money to buy themselves out of it. I'll be alarmed if NXT goes from developmental to a prize for the A&E LFG show. Speaking of that...

I think SS will see a few returns/callups. Kiana James is a natural ally for Tiffy. Trick could be done carrying TNA through the bulk of summer and would make for either a good ally or foil for Carmelo.
SS can get them back to where they were coming out of last year's. Move the IC title from Becky to Vaquer after putting the US Title on Giulia. Punk-Seth to open night 1. Cena-Cody ME Night 2 with the Seth cash-in. Jade doesn't make a ton of sense against either current champion. They need to move Stratton's title to Naomi and make Naomi-Jade the ME of Night 1 to shut up the woke mob. Apparently Liv's injury made them scrap the entire summer program for the women. I hate it but I don't think she'll ever get back to the position where she was two weeks ago.

I did like Cenas shoulder tackle on the ref coming down for Seth.

Poor naitch probably took the best shot from Cena of the night

I'm watching now. Am I the only sick of the SAmoans? A few are good. I like Fatu and Roman. Jey has a good song, but the rest are just short and fat. Not what I'm looking for.

I’m with you on having had enough of all these Samoans, already. At this point, it feels like The Rock hooking his boys up, more than anything. They’re generic and bland. How many guys playing the same character do we need on one roster? I’m tired of it, too.

Yea for the most part I agree. I’ll add solo to the ones I like if he was used properly. Dudes funny as hell when he lets his own personality come out. I agree with hoodie it reeks of Dwayne.

On a related note, it's being reported that Hikuleo will officially be known as Tala Tonga in WWE. That name had been rumored for a while so it's no big surprise.
