You know. This a really off the wall comment, but if WWE had any brains they’d seek a partnership with NJPW. They’d do so much if they opened that door. They’d essentially kill AEW. They’d be able to use their over abundance of talent in a major promotion. NJPW will never be able to compete with them in America, so they don’t run any risk of building competition.
ETA: not to mention the obvious dream matchups they could do with an Okada/Ibushi/Naito/Ospreay/White/Tanahashi on NXT and main roster. Hell they could probably revitalize the CW division with all those guys
I don’t want it to happen as I think an AEW/NjPW alliance would be awesome, but it would be a smart move on WWEs part.
