After all of that calling Punk "old" is what caused him to snap?

Did I miss Austin? Was he in the crowd?

Roman playing the “I’m a better wrestler” card is wild considering he’s never been top tier in the ring.

They even did the credits but didn't finish straight away. I was expecting glass to shatter.

Not to be Captain Hindsight but I really didn't, Austin just doesn't show up for much anymore and he doesn't live in Texas but Nevada and truthfully is a homebody

I think he's shown up to one 3:16 day ever and it was the first one and I'm pretty sure the first Raw of the Covid shutdown

If that's the case, WWE just shouldn't have mentioned it. It was a tease that didn't need to be. But the announcers brought it up, they mentioned it was the 20 year anniversary, they pushed their new doll.

If he wasn't there, don't bring it up.

That's not a swerve.

That's dumb.

I don't think they think it's a swerve and given that he hasn't been there for it in 6 year I don't think it's really fair to call it one either. You hit the nail on the head with your last sentence, did you notice how much merch they pimped tonight? That's what they use it for, to sell shite

I guess.

I just believe in the old rule of theater "If you show a gun or knife in the first act, you better use it by the third act or the audience feels cheated."

I get it and for a lot of ppl who aren't big enough losers like me to know he's never shown up for it don't realize that part either so I think there's definitely a percentage of viewers who feel cheated but I'm sure they feel it's still a net positive for them to do it this way
