WWE Monday Night Raw Thread: RK-Bro Flying High Edition

This Wednesday night I won't be able to start or be in the Dynamite thread due to work... we host LA Tech is some ball-kickin' ladies action. G... it's on you.

The number is in... and AEW Rampage drew 1,129,000 viewer average on cable at 9 PM central on a Friday night.

The opening quarter hour of Rampage... where a certain someone made his return... drew 1,341,000 viewers... including a Smackdown-beating 0.65 (SD did a 0.57 avg) in the all-important 18-49 demo.

Needless to say... people were interested in the return and now AEW needs to capitalize on all the positive momentum it's got right now.

The reason Sasha Banks has missed the last week-plus of work is reported as "not an injury issue"... so... COVID?

Becky Lynch's return was not supposed to happen at SummerSlam and only happened b/c Sasha was forced to miss the show. The decision on that whole segment was solely made by Vince.

Becky is being positioned as SD's top female heel... assuming that means Bianca is still being positioned as the top? only? female babyface on Smackdown.

Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar was originally planned for Wrestlemania... 2023. But WWE decided to fast forward those plans and now it'll happen at either Crown Jewel or Survivor Series.

The relationship between WWE & 2K Games is reported as 'seriously strained' following the failure that was WWE 2K20 and 2K pushing back the release date of WWE 2K22 (which they blame on WWE's ever changing roster). WWE has apparently made it be known that if 2K22 has anything close to the issues of 2K20... that could be the end of the relationship between WWE & 2K Games

As of yesterday morning Adam Cole had not signed a new contract with WWE. Obviously the Young Bucks immediately started teasing Cole as soon as his match ended last night.

WWE Monday Night Raw tonight comes from the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, Calif.

There is a Saints game tonight... so even though it's preseason I will likely watch more of that than Raw... not gonna lie

After taking the belts off of AJ Styles & Omos Saturday night... Matt Riddle promised a championship celebration for tonight. So the question is not if... but how much weed will be imbibed tonight during said celebration.

The 2 losers from Saturday's Raw Women's Championship triple threat will team up again as Nikki A.S.H. & Rhea Ripley come together to face off against former WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler.
