So why do wrasslers have to hold the stupid shoelaces when I’m tag teams? I realize it’s been a thing for a while but in the glory days of WWF/E I don’t ever remember this.

Only thing I can think is to ensure they don’t bump into one another. Anyone have a better reason?

I realize that part of it but since the whole thing is scripted, it just seems unnecessary to add a few pieces of string hang just to give the appearance they are staying in the corner for tags.

I want to see a day when a ref doesn't allow a tag because the wrassler is too far from the string/post and a team lose because of it....it will never happen
