WWE Friday Night Smackdown Thread: Elimination Chamber Go Home Edition

For all of you who were concerned about what was coming from the Capitol Wrestling Center following NXT Wednesday... well... Kyle O'Reilly is just really good at his job. He sold the brainbuster from Adam Cole onto the steps so well some crowd members thought he was legit injured or having a medical issue. Fortunately... it turns out that KOR is perfectly ok and just real good at this wrestling stuff.

If you've been wondering what's with Keith Lee of late... well... Vince McMahon is the answer. It's reported that Vince sees "no spark" in Lee and has particular issue with his promo style. It's also said Lee could be quietly removed from this Sunday's U.S. Title triple threat match making it just a 1-on-1 between Riddle & Lashley.

Speaking of NXT big timers who Vince has lost interest in... Andrade "Cien" Almas made waves by tweeting a picture of himself holding the NXT Championship with 3 fist emojis. Andrade hasn't been seen on WWE pretty much since Zelina Vega was released and he was reportedly 1 of the Paul Heyman projects that Vince ended when Heyman was relieved of his role as Raw Executive Director. So will El Idolo end up back in the developmental brand?

Tonight's Elimination Chamber Go Home episode of Friday Night Smackdown comes from the WWE Thunderdome inside of Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla.

And Bayley hosts a very special episode of "Ding Dong Hello" with the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax... I wonder if the #1 contenders to those tag team titles will pop up? That of course being NXT's Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez
