Do their school children dress up as pilgrims and natives and do a play to celebrate "The First Thanksgiving"?
I am saying that American Thanksgiving is an American holiday with some religious traditions that are the same traditions which accompany most any meal with others: giving thanks. But, it is not exclusively a religious holiday because it was rooted in a secular historical event rather than a biblical one.
Just as pagan traditions being a part of the celebration of a religious holiday do not make that holiday a pagan one, religious traditions being a part of a historical/cultural holiday don't make it religious.
There are tons of religious aspects to Veterans Day including religious services carried out at the graves of fallen soldiers, but that does not make Veterans Day a Christian holiday. It's a secular holiday containing religious traditions.
But NONE OF THAT distinction matters, because whether Thanksgiving is the Christianist Christian holiday to ever Christ a Jesus, the tradition of having a separate Friendsgiving Party around the same time of year to take advantage of all of the friends visiting their families at Thanksgiving in no way detracts from or undermines Thanksgiving or Christianity.

Except the Thanksgiving declaration included a literal reference to thanking God, while the Veteran's Day declaration made no reference to religion.
No one is even arguing Friendsgiving anymore. You've gone completely off the rails.

Making fun of Friendsgiving is one of the meanest, most unforgiving things we can do to one another I've learned. I have never heard of it before but apparently it is pretty damn serious. 12 pages

Fair point.

Yeah. It's almost like you're not the only person in the world who might know what they are talking about. Maybe next time hesitate and check yourself before you get belligerently e-angry.

You're a literal retard. Again, as in the literal meaning of the word literal. You're retarded. I know there's nothing in the Bible about reminding people to breathe, but I pray to God that there is someone who reminds you to do so on a daily basis, because I'm quite honestly worried about you. May God have mercy on your retarded soul.

Friendsgiving has been around at least a decade maybe more.
It was essentially an "Orphan Thanksgiving" for people who had no family to share the day with because they moved across the country, they worked holidays, their family were all dead/dead to them, etc. So these people would share a meal and drinks together rather than sit at home alone.
A few years ago it was co-opted by basic bitches as an "Instagram Holiday" so they could get together and post pictures about how great their friends group was. And the corporate marketing followed.
Apparently now the perpetual victim crew has turned it into an assault on Thanksgiving because of wokeism.
fricking internet
