Would you rather 60% of your paycheck go to our federal government, the same government that runs Obamacare and the VA, in exchange for government run healthcare?
Or would you rather keep more of YOUR MONEY and use your own money to decide the insurance coverage that fits your family?
don't recall saying any of that but our current system is FUBAR, largely due to the insurance industry, I have a friend who is a pilot for UAL who was vacationing in Italy and developed chest pains, went to a hospital(he called UAL to get in touch with their local physician,) diagnosed, had a stent installed, in and out of the hospital in two hours, another friend of mine had to have an emergency appendectomy while on a layover in Bogota, excellent treatment from his US educated docs, they even came to his hotel to check on him prior to him traveling back to the US, it cost more to have his staples removed here, a lot more, than the entire procedure in Colombia did, we've good decent health care available here but our system is seriously flawed

I'm sure he's combing through Reddit as we speak for a rebuttal

Luckily no one in the US ever experiences any treatment delays or loses out on any medical treatment due to our incredibly generous and affordable health insurance system.
But it’s still the best in the world.

It’s pretty tough looking out at the general public and seeing the shocking levels of obesity here compared to just about anywhere else on the planet. The body positivity/fat acceptance takes on the situation also tend to make the blood boil.

Again, we have the VA. The VA is the government healthcare you so desire. Why is the VA such a failure?
Where did i say I wanted a universal VA?
Some of you all are so brainwormed you don't even realize it when you say things that make no sense to anyone that's understanding of this topic isn't exclusively driven by industry and Fox News talking points. Like the entire mess you posted above and in the other quote that not only avoids directly responding to my post, just comes off borderline unhinged. Like some sort of Right-wing facebook meme-bot, ad libbing responses with talking points.
Fact is the VA provides a service the market would not do without intervention, hence it is a necessity in a system that refuses to just create a universal healthcare system like any other country in the developed world. One of the central problems of America is that we operate our system with literally 100's of redundant bureaucracies and systems across states, the fed, and private companies that all do the same basic task of being a middle man between consumers and healthcare providers. And in choosing that, actually does a very poor job keeping costs down and incentivizing care where it is needed most. hence we spend more than any other country by almost double, yet don't cover everyone and have tons of issues across the system in delivering care to who needs it and in a way they can afford.

Also, not the best argument when America is one of the only countries currently with a declining life expectancy and one of the lowest in the developed world....
The United States is also the most obese country in the developed world. Nearly 40% of our population is considered obese.

Record profits with inflation at the highest its been. Lol
Now do all the tech companies the past few years.
People(not specifically you) just see billions and automatically think the number is absurd because they compare it to an individual. These companies employ tens of thousands of people. They're the biggest in the world. Them making billions are expected and shouldn't be shamed.

Some people pretend to be "successful" while arguing for shittier health care. I'm not buying it. I always assume their on some shitty Obamacare insurance.
My coverage is awesome, frick anyone who wants to mess with it.

42% of our population is obese.
~20% of children are obese and the rate of those who are overweight has tripled.
Our healthcare system is, ironically, collapsing under the weight of our obese population.

No, what's shameful is them raising the cost of their goods when they don't have to.

Cool. I could tell you the times I've had to go to the hospital also and received the care I needed in a timely fashion, but one might say that's anecdotal.
You and I aren't doctors but I don't know if I would be bragging about this here. Two hours in the hospital for chest pains and having a stent put in?

Almost like the combo of subsidizing easily accessible junk food, low wages and long hours, a country that is set up for vehicle commuting and not walking, and poor access to the healthcare system might have something to do with so many people living unhealthy lifestyles?

Let's revisit this post, which was garbage anyway because bronc doesn't work in healthcare. His wife is a nurse
Now the nurses husband is telling an actual doctor how the healthcare industry works.
You sure do stick together like good little lemmings though. The left has yall trained better than the Chinese

Incapable humans want the magic pill. Gubment health care is one of those things.
Progs are vapid, superficial beings who believe changing ones materialistic place in life changes their character and trajectory. Dialectical materialism is their belief, though many don't know it.
Commodity fetishism is the lasting legacy of Marx.
They fail to take behaviorism into account. their utopia will lead to more obesity and less individual equity.
