I certainly think that's part of it. However I think there's also been an embargo on some footage. You don't want the IRGC to have recent footage that they could use to assess damage. It's why Israel is telling our news networks not to disclose locations (whether by showing hits in relation to landmarks or procedures). There are more ways to get information online now but both sides have flooded it with AI, bots, and misinformation campaigns. The gold standard is information aired by FNC & CNN/Legacy media backed up by accounts known to be accurate in the past. Sifting through all of the bullshite online is a PITA but I'm a history/politics junkie so it's a fun way to exercise that part of my brain.
