At very least Rock should have been there to rub it in Cody's face for not selling his soul. That match needed a Rock appearance to put it over.

To sum up tonight
4 outstanding matches
2 mediocre to bad matches
Main Event - decent to good match with shitty ending.

Night two belongs to Dom and Iyo
If Cena wasn’t winning 17, it wouldn’t be talked about tomorrow.

And yeah....Karma is a motherfricker. Minneapolis is laughing its arse off. The Vegas tourism board is laughing their asses off. The fans that spent the money to see the show took one up the arse.
Explain this Minneapolis thing to me.

Dom is taking a very similar path to SCSA's from lackluster with 1st gimmick (Rey's kid in the Covid era) to hated heel to a guy fans warm up to after seeing him work his arse off. Will we see him excommunicated from JD tomorrow night?

When the best thing about the Super Bowl of wrestling was stone cold coming out to talk and liv wearing a thong. Things aren’t looking so good. Glad we grew up in the prime WWE era.

I’m not sure I’d call that a no-sell. He played dead and Cody had to physically remove him from the ring. Maybe an oversell, HBK style.
You’re right, but Scott had all but shaken it off entirely in the post match celebration.
A non wrestler Scott’s size shouldn’t be able to do that. Cody beat Roman Reigns with that move, for heaven’s sake.

No idea what the deal is with no Rock appearance at all. That should have been the Travis Scott spot.
They’re either planning on this story dragging on until well into next year, or they botched it.

Yeah that’s over. Finn vs. Dom coming soon to a theater near you.

I don't blame Scott. He's a rapper, not a wrestler. Who put him in that important role? That's who to blame.

Rock is a damn problem. Dude just decides he wants to show up and they have to write him in. Either be in or out. This disjointed bullshite was really a slap in the face to Cena and Cody.

Wasn’t there a writers strike last year? Without that, bye bye Rocky.

Is the NOLA crowd gonna know who to cheer and who to boo?

The crowds in Europe seemed to have it figured out pretty well. The Vegas trash just couldn’t help themselves.
Come on, man. Less than 5% of these crowds are from Vegas or next year New Orleans. These are crowds flying in from all over the country and the world.
The crowd wanted to cheer on Cena. But instead they got stuck watching Travis Scott walk in at slower speed than Undertaker and Omos. After that, they got inexplicably punished with worst ending anyone could have scripted.
Awful. Lame AF. Embarrassing ending for main event to a great night.

Dear lord that crowd looks like a Gameday set. They packed it
I don’t think they were expecting that

The problem with letting that rapper actually punch Cody in the face while he was defenseless and then not getting his just do was a failure.

The match seemed choppy at best, and the ending had zero creativity.
I feel like the match itself was very good and slowly building to the crescendo. It went to another level when Scott came out because of the expectations of more run ins.
This match would’ve been a 10/10 if Cody gets revenge on Scott, then legitimately looks like he’s about to beat Cena only for the Rock to come out. Seth coming down and putting the screws to Cody would’ve been great too.

True plus makes Cena look stupid for selling his soul to Rock and he doesn't even show up. Yes i know Cena barely showed up after the turn

Another obvious take, if Logan Paul was a full time career wrestler he'd go down as one of the greatest. He's got it all, athleticism, power, charisma, mic skills, heat, heck, he could turn and be an awesome grey area "face".
