Nah. People who watch rasslin’ know it’s Los Angeles seeing as it was in NOLA 6 years ago and then NOLA begged them to come back 2 years ago. So they ain’t going back this soon

Complete bullshite. The Vikings have had their new stadium for years yet Vince still has sand in his vagina when it comes to the old AWA. He sticks his shows in the city's oldest, most uncomfortable, and ADA unfriendly arena when he goes to Chicago. I can't recall a single Big 4 PPV in Minneapolis. He does this crap with every city which served as a base and didn't cower to his nationwide ambitions. Just look how he treats Atlanta (NWA/WCW) vs Florida (which became developmental for him.)

The only excuse that makes sense is if they're saving Minneapolis for Brock's last match/HOF Induction.

Summerslam 1999 was there with Governor Jessie Ventura as the ref for the main event. Minneapolis was in the running for WM the last time it went to Orlando. WWE likes to pick "destination" cities to host it, I've heard Bruce Prichard say that's why St Louis never got it. Has nothing to do with bias against other promotions.

Next year will most likely be Las Vegas btw.

Prichard made mention of stuff like this in one of the last podcast that I listened to when somebody said that Indianapolis has a nice stadium, why doesn’t it ever go there. You have to be an attraction city. It’s not all about the stadium, Minneapolis just isn’t an attraction city

Edit: Got beaten to the punch.

well then what took 30 years for NOLA to get a 'Mania? (other than it was a prime WCW stronghold)

and 20 to get a Royal Rumble?

Don't believe SummerSlam or Survivor Series have ever been to NOLA

Its only been since WM17 that cities have started to make bids on WM like they do for the Superbowl and other big events. Even then it took a few years for cities to see that it was worth it.
