Got a 2013 Taco in 2013, no problems, just awesome truck. We also got a 2017 Grand Cherokee. That thing is bad arse and love it. Seems like they have upgraded this vehicle from prior years. Extremely smooth driving and awesome inside/out.

How do you even do that with a Jeep? They hold their value well and you can get them new for 5%-7% under invoice (10% under MSRP).

can't tell you I've ever seen a Tacoma broken down on the side of the road. Literally every time we go jeeping, every jeep needs some kind fixing by the end of the weekend.
They're very cool vehicles and I will own one but for the OP, Tacoma wins.

I am furious
I have owned 3 Jeeps and 2 4Runners, so I love some Jeep and Toyotas.
Tacoma is a great choice, there is just nothing fun about it. The reward for not having fun, it will not break down.
