Not entirely true.

That's 99% of prison life. Be a good guy and you'll have friends. If the only other white guy in your pod is a belligerent redneck who takes the attention off of you, well, that's just icing on the cake.

When I was younger definitely, now I'd probably need more $. 2 million is still a lot, but not what it used to be. I'd need the no rape clause as well.

Taxes included would turn that 2 million to 1.5 million. I would need a no rape clause and a promise from my current employer to have my job back when I got out. Then yes, absolutely would do it.

ETA: would have a bad arse retirement set up

If I were 65, yes, but I will make more than $2M in my lifetime and having a record would pretty much disqualify me from my profession. Unless, somehow, everyone knew it was for a game show and I didn't get anything on my record that I had to disclose to the bar.

If filing single, you are looking over $863,000 in federal taxes

118,118.75 plus 39.6% on the difference (using 2014 schedule)

Add your state taxes if in such a state.

You can ignore all these posters saying they'll do it.

I'll do it for $1.75 million. When do I start?

That depends. Do you mean white collar resort prison? Yes. PMITA prison? No.
