I like my husband too, but that doesn't mean we need to spend every second we are home together.

I don't care if she watches all 162+ Astros games with me this year, I am not going to sit through a full episode of Dance Moms.

I like how you know what appeals to mature women. It's almost like you're just..... asssuming
Of course I am, there are no hard facts behind any of this stuff.
I looked for the demographics on the Kardashian viewers and there isn't many specifics to debate, but if you take the group of women who religiously watch the Kardashians - which has been my presumption this entire thread - do you honestly believe that group is full of well-rounded, mature women on the whole?
I can live with exceptions, but the thread is about the viewers in general.
For the record, my answer to the OP is yes, yes I would date a woman who watched the show, because it isn't a deal breaker one way or the other, but my original post stated it IS a red flag IMO. It is one part to a huge puzzle, but it isn't a desirable trait in the slightest.
Also, to everyone who continues to compare this to sports, I take issue with that. If you want to compare reality TV in general to sports, sure, but this show in particular has been the crux of my argument all afternoon. Watching this show religiously and not missing an LSU football game are two totally different animals. No one graduated from Kardashian University. No one has family and friends who've played for Kardashian University.

This. Yeah there are things we both like to watch together. But it isn't unreasonable to assume that when you have two people living together....they are individually going to have their own preferences that are not always the same as their spouse.
Also...I'm not gonna inflict my chick shows on him for the sake of us "spending time together."

Even if everyone watches trash TV on some level, it doesn't exclude people from drawing the line on certain shows, and the Kardashians are one of those shows for me. You may not be able to escape some version of crap TV for women under 30,but surely you can pick and chose the extent of that crap. I'm much more inclined to associate myself with someone who watches American Idol than I am someone who watches Honey Boo Boo or the Kardashians. Is that wrong?

Me and my wife actually like each other, unlike most on this board.
The wife-hating on this site is so over the top, it's kinda crazy

We can both agree on this. I've always thought my wife and I have a great relationship, but this site makes me believe we're one-in-a-million compared to the misery of others.

I mean as long as it's not obsessive, why not? I follow a bunch of guys wearing pajamas just because they hit a baseball around.
