Yep. Even at what most people consider the decent level for residential safes, Liberty and the like, fire and theft is still a very real possibility.
Theft is overplayed, IMO, because of the type of thief typically encountered here. Of course, if it's in your garage and can be yanked out with a truck, or some other susceptible situation, even idiots may be able to pull it off.
