Indeed. You have Steve just painfully trying to get in on the reunion and they keep saying 'um, sure Steve, maybe later' and the one guy that EVERYONE wants to see play with Duff and Slash again just refuses.

I spent a lot of money to see the three originals again. I'd pay a fortune to see Izzy play with those guys again. He was always the heart and soul of that band, anyway.

Steven has always held Steven back. Just setting aside the drug addiction, he seems obsessed with Appetite for Destruction. His current, longtime project is known as Adler's Appetite which plays a ton of songs from the AFD album. There are plenty of interviews in which he talks about practicing those songs for hours on end. Even when the reunion came about he was throwing out the idea of him playing Appetite songs and Frank playing the rest. I honestly think the real reason the other guys don't want to play with him full time is because he's still stuck in 1987 and they've moved on creatively. If he brought something to the table besides obsessing over AFD, he'd probably get more than an occasional cameo.

I don't think Izzy would be against a reunion if the money was right. The problem is that Izzy remains a recluse. Axl, Duff and Slash have all proved that they can draw fans independently of each other. Izzy can't claim that because he doesn't tour and therefore doesn't draw a measurable crowd. So when it's reunion time, Izzy has no leverage in the negotiation because Axl Duff and Slash know they can draw a large, sellout crowds without him.

Wrong. That’s Shannon Hoon. Although SB is a badass in his own right, you will put some respect on Shannon’s name. The man is a legend, even though he made the choice to off himself with copious amounts of booger sugar.
