That is not how it works. She literally doesn’t do shite else but work and take the dog out and if she can. She works for a big arse IT firm. Kills it for having a French Lit degree from LSU. Works for it though.

I've had that happen to me with several companies
Once you prove you can handle more than other team members they just start dumping everything on you because they know it will get done
I don't hate it. There is an old strategy that says if you need something done fast give it to the busiest person in the office and let them know it takes priority #1. They'll knock it out because they have other things to get to after.

Jesus you People are so annoying. You have to do your work or you'll be fired.

Be patient, work your arse off. Hard work always gets recognized. That is all.
If you're in manufacturing or plant work and you're really good, or just have a role that falls higher on the IQ curve, you're probably stuck. ie if you're an operator at a plant you probably have some mobility because the job doesn't require the same level of aptitude that an electrician, instrumentation, and certainly process controls require. There are just more low IQ humans available for an operator job, so operators generally get to move around because they're easier to replace. WFH guys that come from the offshore environment absolutely always come from operations because you can just grab one off the streets of mamou and tell him "stand there, turn valve". Try finding a GOOD electrician. It's much different and he's usually some guy from central Mississippi and not part of the good ole boy coonass operator club. He's just harder to find.
Advancement has little to do with effort and ability in a lot of cases. That's just my experience after 20 years though.

How do you groom and learn to communicate constructively by sitting at home in your pajamas?
Some more time communicating via written language might help prevent you from writing sentences like these:

I get entree to maybe (not always) senior level positions being able to take instructions.
