So to speak...
Skull or Cranium used in place of the word "head"

BLUF (bottom line up front...used in long emails as military version of TL;DR)

Grown men discussing an athlete's great performance typically ...he really "showed out".

I once thought this was maybe some kind of New Orleans thing but apparently it's just more hip-hop influence on adult white males.
