I would tend to agree with you if the doors didn't swing up but if you pause the video where she first pulls her phone up, she is about 4 or 5' from the 2' high door. There is no way possible she didn't see the 2' tall door standing up from where she picked up her phone, if she didn't then should be unable to see a car coming from any distance and would have been hit and killed by now.

While I think she's dumb, there are clear OSHA rules on open holes and the baracaids that you need. That baracaids was no where near high enough .
