There is a book called Contract Killer: The Explosive Story of the Mafia's Most Notorious Hitman Donald "Tony the Greek" Frankos. Frankos is said to have killed 40 people or so. He worked a lot with Joe 'Mad Dog' Sullivan. He says Sullivan killed over 100 people. Sullivan admitted to over 30.
In that book Frankos says you knew who the real cold blooded tough guy killers were. They were the guys who could kill someone, and then sit down afterward and eat a meal like nothing had happened.
