Do you think that it's worth risking your child's life for a few thousand dollars?

No I'm saying that if you're unvaccinated and you take up a bed that leads to a person without covid being denied service, you bear personal responsibility for that.
*Please note that bolding personal responsibility as was actually done in this quote demonstrating “acting rationally over emotions” messes up the link formatting, so I have to do it here as a footnote.

Your obsession is getting scary.
And thank you for showing I argue for rationality and personal responsibility, even during thought exercises, contrary to what certain others said ITT.

You’re complete and utter shame over that thread will never not be amusing.

Thank you for proving to everyone, again, that you are a legitimately stupid person.

We don’t have the whole video, I’d like to see all the context… but not for the reason you think.
The two responses in this thread are “frick yeah” and “this was stupidly risky.” My first reaction is “frick yeah.” I understand the other side of it, but from the story in the tweet, it sounds like the woman hit them and tried to run, and the victims of the hit and run filmed it. Unless you think they’re supposed to just let hit and runs happen, so far so good. Obviously at some point they all stopped and got out. Common sense would suggest the woman stopped and got out first since she was the one fleeing the accident; if it had been the victims, she would have just kept going and fled. And the natural assumption, to me, would be that she stopped because of the accident, not that she was about to pull a gun. So while I guess you could argue they should have just left after getting the license plate, I don’t see what they did wrong here. Then she pulls a gun and gets fricking owned. No problem here either.
So while I get the “stupid and risky” reaction, I think it’s wrong. They were justified all the way through. Wish we had the whole video because I bet you it would’ve made that clear.

Well it hasn't worked. This place is more emotional than ever. If most of the politards here got any more emotional, they'd start a knitting club on here.

If you talk to any LEO about what to do in a robbery, they will tell you "give them what they want. Your possessions aren't worth your life"

Yeah lets not jump to conculsions on this one.
A woman jumping out the car screaming inconsobly waving a gun around.
I cant imagine the whole video will make much of a difference here. TBH.

I understand the point you're making, and laughing.
Now if you're asking how someone can be so dumb as to be so wrong, I only understand that in the academic sense. There is no method acting strong enough where I could dumb myself down to truly understand it on a personal level.
As I said, your obsession is getting scary. The fact that you combine the obsession with displays of analysis requiring incredibly low IQ makes it a bit scarier.

The point is to decrease the potential of a homicide in the first place.
He should have called the cops and made and insurance report, and not followed her to escalate a situation where his life and his son's life were put at risk.
Again, is the risk of your child's life worth a few thousand dollars?

You clearly don’t. Because you aren’t intelligent enough to.

You think the post I linked in this thread is an example of ‘demonstrating rationality in the face of emotion’.
If that phrase existed in a dictionary, that post would be displayed as an example of the opposite of what that phrase means.
But you aren’t intelligent enough to understand that.

The fact that someone as legitimately stupid as you are thinks you are in any kind of position to comment on other people’s IQ is a lot more amusing.

How many "legitimately stupid" people do you know have an IQ over 130*?
*I'm using the cutoff for gifted in LA, which I was (via IQ test). I'm not discussing my actual IQ.

I think what the guy did was awesome and something I would have done 20 years ago.
However, as an older man now I'd have just got the tag, I for damn sure wouldn't have hung around when she pulled over and brandished a pistol.
Age has made me much more wary than I use to be. I've seen to many bad situations get much worse by not staying calm and thinking things through

The last thing you want to do, as a proper adult from proper society, is escalate a situation with someone with high Altima energy.
