Woman Accused of Abducting 2 Year Old in 2021 is At It Again...

Lakesha Brown, 42, is charged with kidnapping and cruelty to children. Her arrest warrants state she posed as a babysitter on a “pregnancy mom group” on Facebook to get close to the family.
Police said Brown spent the past year building a relationship with the children’s mother, Elica Redding.
Police said Redding reported her daughters, 11-month-old Norah and 4-year-old Zola, missing on Sunday.
Brown has been on the run since 2021 after attempting to kidnap a 2-year old in Alabama.

I'm surprised we don't see more of these cases stemming from Facebook. On neighborhood groups and shite that pops up in my feed regularly some people literally will trust their kids with anyone...I mean I don't know if they actually go through with it, but parents will be communicating with serious interest with absolutely blatant tweakers and addicts that offer to do it...

I can't understand how someone can be on the run for 5 years and literally be in the next state over.
When I've thought about being on the run and worked out the scenario in my head it involves ditching all my electronics and id, emptying my accounts, paying in nothing but cash, getting on a train because they don't have security screenings, getting out to California and drifting south, etc.
She just moved to Atlanta.

It's strange. Looks like she was living in a POD or something. Maybe someone saw her go in with the kids, put a masterlock on it to keep her from running and called the cops anonymously? This is hood Atlanta.

Sometimes they have a second side door towards the front. If she latched from inside, they went thru back because the latches are outside.
