Guys, the high for tomorrow is 37. It'll be 37 by midnight and get colder and won't be above freezing the rest of the day. Hence, the high being 37.

This thread seems to be full of "wish casting". That is what the weather forum I follow calls it. You should celebrate any forecast that keeps winter weather out of your area.

Should I put a lot of stock into that model? The models I've been studying differ vastly.

keep in mind models come out 4 times a day, the main models we look at are the NAM, GFS, and Euro. Also now we look at the RAP model, which only goes 18 hours out, its used for very short term forecasting

equal amount of stock.. no one model should be greater than another. this is the first of the three to come out for the 00z package.. next up is the gfs, then later the euro

The models I've been studying have huge tits and are normally swallowing large amounts of semen. Semen is white. Therefore the models I follow predict lots of snow.

You're looking for convergence. That's when you know they've probably sniffed out the right solution.

Should I worry about any road closures driving from Beaumont to BR at this moment?

Looks to me like it is going to be 30 for about an hour at sunrise and rise to 37 tomorrow. That's not going to produce snow or freezing rain in Baton Rouge. Roads may freeze after sunset tomorrow, but, looks like Baton Rouge dodges a bullet. That's a good thing. Right?

where did you get this info from?

hopefully your apple forecast is right

also for those who are looking at weather models.. make sure the model initializes correctly, if it doesn't initialize correctly, you can throw the whole model away cause its trash
