It looks like WBRZ is trying to fail again with this storm. Ol Pat makes it look like the precip should be long gone by Tuesday evening/night.

The NWS says we could get an inch of snow Tuesday night.

Pat on channel 2 isn't even a meteorologist. If you look under his name when he is on TV it says "Chief Forecaster". His dad got him that job when he was younger.

I don't watch local weather since during one of the hurricanes when one of the "weathermen" stated the worst was over while we were in the eye & hadn't even gotten the backside of it yet.

I can't even make this up... HTV10 just did a promo for their "innovations in weather" and they ended it with "HTV was the first station to use a stick, now other stations copied our method and use straight lines."

Can anyone tell me if it would be stupid to head from Baton Rouge to Slidell tomorrow morning and expect to make it back by around 1 or 2pm. I don't want to get stuck out there but I have some business to attend to

That'd be pushing it. Likely the interstates will be closed but surface streets open. You'll probably make it back but your timetable is less than ideal
