Soooo...anything bad happen?
I was staying with my cousin while I was working up there. The worst thing that happened was we were waiting on the Chicago “ L” train when three guys approached, one with a knife in hand. Well my cousin pulled out his pistol and they ran off. The people there are just rude, mean and nasty. I lived in LA and it’s so must better than Chicago

Congratulations. If you are who I think you are I have seen pics, and she is beautiful. If you aren't than my comment is a little creepy but congratulations are still in order.

Thanks!

How do I know you? I suspect your initials may be TD, but I am not sure.

If I’m right, shoot me an email.

The building I worked in (before Covid) was a half block from Sears Tower. When storms rolled in, you could feel the building move if you were on the 42nd floor.

I bet I would have gotten motion sickness in there today.

I'm in South Bend, this rolled through here about an hour after Chicago. We've had worse straight line wind storms come through than this just in recent years. That being said, it's still enough to make you pucker up.

1 minute it's starting to get cloudy
5 minutes later it's starting to get windy
5 minutes later it's pitch black and there's 80 mph straight line winds
5 minutes later it's just rain

In winter he would have to dodge chunks of ice falling off the buildings.

It still happens. Every spring (except this one) there's usually a few days where the PD barricades off sidewalks because of the falling ice. The cool thing about the front end of winter is the layered ice waves that look like they were frozen almost as instantaneously as those British pilots in TDAT.

Got up and got dressed for dinner, walked downstairs to learn that a damn tornado had come straight down the Miracle Mile main drag.

Did the tornado go by the name of ANTIFA?

Some of y'all shouldn't be surprised when some of us northerners return fire the next time New Orleans gets shite on by mother nature.

You mean like this idiot?

(I'm a Bears fan/STH. 99.99999% of Bears fans would love to meet up with this waste of flesh at Sonic.)

Almost the same exact thing downstate. We went from 0-70 in 30 seconds, then 5 minutes later had what I call Mississippi/Florida/Gulf style rain for 15 minutes, and then just drizzle for an hour. One of the craziest storms I've seen since moving from Florida. We went from a heat index of 114 to a temp/hi of 71 30 minutes later.
