State government is closed for every possible holiday. No, they, and the Postal Service, are not open.

Under normal circumstances the obvious answer is NO.
BUT, they were actually OPEN on LABOR DAY because of the floods.

DMV is state and they are open Columbus, USPS is Federal they are closed

They are open federal holiday not state.
